Accessibility Statement
TopInkjet is committed to making topinkjet.com usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium and to apply best practices for inclusive design throughout the site.
What We've Done
Our development and design team has built topinkjet.com with the following accessibility features in mind:
- Keyboard navigation: every interactive element on the site can be reached and operated using a standard keyboard. Skip links allow assistive-technology users to jump past repeated navigation.
- Focus indicators: visible focus styles are applied to every focusable control so keyboard users can always tell where they are.
- Semantic HTML: the site uses standard HTML elements (headings, landmarks, lists, buttons, links) so screen readers can announce structure correctly. Each page has exactly one H1 and a logical heading hierarchy.
- Alternative text: every product image and content image includes descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked appropriately so they are not announced.
- Color contrast: body text meets at least 4.5:1 contrast against its background; large text meets at least 3:1. Color is never used as the only means of conveying information.
- Form labels and errors: every input has a visible label, and form validation messages are programmatically associated with their fields and announced to screen readers.
- Resizable text: the site uses relative units so visitors can scale text up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Responsive design: the site adapts to phone, tablet, and desktop viewports and works at high zoom levels.
- Motion: we minimize motion and respect the operating-system "reduce motion" preference.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is a continuous process, not a one-time project. We test each new page and feature against WCAG 2.1 AA criteria using both automated tools and human review with a screen reader (VoiceOver and NVDA). We audit the entire site at least once a year.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content on the site may not yet be fully accessible. Specifically:
- A small number of older product images may have less descriptive alternative text than newer images. We update these as we identify them.
- Some PDF documents linked from policy pages may not be fully tagged for accessibility. If you encounter a PDF that's hard to use, contact us and we will provide an alternative format within 5 business days.
Assistive Technology Compatibility
topinkjet.com is designed to work with the following assistive technologies:
- Screen readers: VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), TalkBack (Android).
- Browsers: the latest two versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox.
- Operating systems: macOS, Windows 10/11, iOS 15+, Android 12+.
