Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, what TopInkjet uses them for, and the choices you have. It complements our Privacy Policy.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — things like your preferred language, your sign-in state, or items in your shopping cart — making the next visit easier. Cookies can also be used to measure how a website is performing and to make advertising more relevant.
Cookies We Use
We keep cookie usage minimal. The cookie banner that appears on your first visit to topinkjet.com lets you choose which categories you allow.
Strictly Necessary
These cookies are required for the site to work. They enable your sign-in session, your shopping cart, your wishlist, your checkout flow, and your cookie preferences themselves. They cannot be turned off because the site would not function without them.
Functional
These cookies remember your preferences (such as recent products viewed and saved wishlist items) so the experience feels more personal next time. They are first-party cookies set by TopInkjet only.
Marketing / Advertising
If you allow marketing cookies, a third-party advertising measurement tag sets a small number of cookies so our advertising partner can attribute your visit to an ad you may have clicked. No other ad networks or third-party trackers are loaded. These cookies are off by default and you can reject them at any time by emailing [email protected] or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
We do not currently use a separate web-analytics tool or any session-recording / heatmap tool.
Local Storage
In addition to cookies, we use your browser's local storage to keep your shopping cart, wishlist, account session, and order history alive between visits. Local storage is private to your browser and is never transmitted automatically to our servers. If you clear your browser data, this information is removed.
Your Choices
You can change your cookie choices at any time by clearing your browser storage and revisiting topinkjet.com — the banner will reappear and you can pick a new preference. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings, but please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent core site features (cart, sign-in, checkout) from working.
Most modern browsers also support a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal. Where applicable law requires, we honor those signals as opt-out requests for sale or sharing of personal information.
Third-Party Cookies
The only third-party cookies set on topinkjet.com come from our advertising measurement tag, and only if you have allowed marketing cookies. Our payment processor sets short-lived cookies in its own checkout pages (which you only see during a card transaction); we don't load any other third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least 30 days.
How to Manage Cookies in Your Browser
If you'd prefer to manage cookies at the browser level instead of through our cookie banner, every modern browser includes settings for blocking, allowing, or deleting cookies on a per-site basis. The relevant pages in the popular browsers are:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
- Safari (macOS): Safari → Settings → Privacy.
- Safari (iOS): Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies at the browser level will prevent your TopInkjet shopping cart, sign-in session, and checkout from working correctly. We recommend using our in-page cookie controls for the most useful balance of privacy and function.
Cookie Lifespan
Cookies set by topinkjet.com expire on different schedules depending on what they're used for. Session cookies (cart contents, sign-in state) expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies — used to remember your cookie consent choices, your wishlist, and your recently viewed products — typically last for up to 13 months from the last time you visited. Cookies set by our advertising measurement tag follow our advertising partner's published lifespans — typically a session cookie plus a persistent cookie lasting approximately 13 months.
Children
topinkjet.com is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly set cookies in the browsers of children under 13. If you believe a child has used our site, please contact us and we will remove any associated identifiers.
Updates to Our Cookie List
If we add, remove, or change a cookie partner, we update this page and (where the change is material) prompt you to renew your cookie preferences on your next visit. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
