Privacy Policy
TopInkjet ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit topinkjet.com or place an order with us, how we use that information, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using our site, you agree to the practices described below.
Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly when you create an account, place an order, or contact support. This includes your name, email address, mailing and billing addresses, phone number, payment information, and any messages you send to us. When you place an order, your card payment is processed by a secure third-party payment processor and we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
We also collect a small amount of information automatically when you visit the site: your IP address, the browser and operating system you're using, the page you requested, and the URL that referred you. This is captured through standard web-server logs and through the small cookies described in our Cookie Policy.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to fulfill your orders, ship the products you purchased, send order confirmations, respond to support inquiries, provide and improve the site and our services, prevent fraud, and comply with our legal obligations. We do not send marketing emails.
How We Share Your Information
We share information only with the service providers we need to operate our business: the payment processor that handles your card transaction, the shipping carrier that delivers your order, the email service provider that sends transactional emails (order confirmations, return instructions, and replies to your questions), and the advertising-measurement provider listed below. These providers are contractually required to use your information only to perform services for us and to keep it secure.
We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. If you are a California resident and would like to exercise your right to opt out of any sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, please visit our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.
Advertising and Analytics Partners
To measure the effectiveness of our advertising, we load a single third-party advertising measurement tag on topinkjet.com. This tag collects your IP address, the pages you view on our site, and basic browser information, and may set a small number of first- and third-party cookies so our advertising partner can attribute visits and purchases to ads you previously saw. You can opt out of personalized advertising in the privacy settings of the search engines and ad platforms where you are signed in.
We do not currently use any separate web-analytics tool, session-recording tool, heatmap tool, or other behavioural-analytics vendor. If we add one in the future, this Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy will be updated and the cookie banner will prompt you to renew your preferences.
You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing [email protected] and we will record your opt-out. When you reject marketing cookies, the advertising measurement tag does not send any further identifiers.
Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. We retain order records for up to seven years to comply with US tax and accounting requirements. You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will remove personal information promptly except where retention is required by law.
Security
We protect your information with industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. All data transmitted to and from topinkjet.com is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher. Access to customer information internally is restricted to employees who need it to perform their job. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal information. California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Virginia residents have additional rights under their state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we have collected, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of certain sharing. Please email [email protected] to exercise any of these rights.
Children
TopInkjet does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page tells you when the most recent revision was published. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least 30 days.
International Data Transfers
TopInkjet operates entirely within the United States. The servers that store your account information and order records are located in US data centers, and our service providers process data primarily within the United States. Our advertising and email vendors may process limited information from data centers outside the US under standard contractual clauses approved for cross-border transfer. We use vendors that maintain GDPR-aligned safeguards even though our customer base is US-only.
How We Detect and Prevent Fraud
To protect both you and us from fraudulent transactions, we use industry-standard fraud-prevention services that analyze the order, the IP address, the device fingerprint, and the billing/shipping address combination. If an order is flagged for additional review, we may delay shipment by one business day while we manually verify the order. We may contact you by email or phone for confirmation. We never store the full card number, the CVV, or the magnetic-stripe data — those are tokenized by our payment processor before our systems see them.
We describe the cookies we use in detail in our Cookie Policy. In summary: strictly necessary cookies keep your sign-in and shopping cart working, functional cookies remember your preferences, and marketing cookies (off by default) let our advertising partner measure ad performance. You can change your cookie preferences at any time by emailing [email protected].
Email Communications
You will receive transactional emails from us — order confirmations, return instructions, and any direct response to a question you asked. These messages are required to complete the transaction you initiated. We do not send marketing or promotional emails.
