Do you ship internationally?

TopInkjet ships within the United States only — all 50 states, Washington D.C., and APO/FPO/DPO addresses. We do not currently ship to Canada, Mexico, or any international destination.

When will my order ship?

Most orders are packed and handed to the carrier within 1–2 business days. Orders placed on weekends or US federal holidays begin processing the next business day. If you'd like a status update on your order, email us with your order number (begins with "TI-") and we'll respond during business hours.

How long does delivery take?

Standard ground shipping arrives in 3–7 business days, free on every order. Delivery times exclude the day of shipment, weekends, and US federal holidays. Most orders are packed and handed to the carrier within 1–2 business days of order placement. Severe weather, natural disasters, carrier disruptions, and other unforeseen circumstances can occasionally extend transit times beyond this window.

Is shipping really free?

Yes. Every order ships free via Standard Ground shipping anywhere in the United States — all 50 states, Washington D.C., US territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses — with no minimum spend required. Transit times to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, and APO/FPO/DPO are typically extended; see the Shipping Policy for the full schedule.

Can I return a printer if I don't love it?

Absolutely. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return any printer in original condition with all packaging and accessories for a full refund of the product price. See our Return Policy for the full process.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes — every printer we sell carries the full manufacturer's warranty (typically 1 year limited hardware warranty). For warranty service, contact the manufacturer directly using the documentation included in the box.

Do I have to create an account to check out?

No. Guest checkout is the default and works without ever creating an account. Creating an account is optional and only saves your shipping address and order history for next time.

Do you charge sales tax?

Yes. As a US retailer, we are required to collect sales tax in states where we have nexus. Tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address.

Can I cancel my order?

If your order has not yet shipped, contact us right away at [email protected] and we'll cancel it. Once an order has shipped, you'll need to follow the return process after delivery.

What if my printer arrives damaged?

If your shipment arrives with visible carrier damage, photograph the box and contents and email us within 48 hours. We will investigate, file a claim with the delivery carrier on your behalf, and issue a full refund to your original payment method once the claim is resolved.

How will I know when my order ships?

We monitor every order from placement through delivery. If there's any delay or issue with your shipment, we'll reach out by email. To check on the status of an order at any time, email us with your order number (begins with "TI-") and we'll respond during business hours.

Do you sell ink cartridges or paper?

Not at this time. We focus exclusively on printer hardware. For ink, we recommend purchasing genuine OEM cartridges directly from the manufacturer or an authorized retailer.

Can I ship to a P.O. Box?

Most printers cannot ship to P.O. Boxes due to weight and package-size limits set by our carriers. Please use a residential or business street address. APO/FPO/DPO military addresses are supported and ship via the US Postal Service for the final military-mail leg.

Do you offer commercial or volume pricing?

We don't currently publish a wholesale price list, but if you're outfitting an office, school, or non-profit and need more than three units of the same printer, email us at [email protected] with the model number and quantity. We'll get back to you during business hours with what we can do.

Are the printers you sell brand new or refurbished?

Every printer in our catalog is brand new, sealed in the original manufacturer packaging, and carries the full manufacturer warranty. We do not currently sell open-box, refurbished, or used printers.

Do you offer financing or buy-now-pay-later?

Not at this time. We accept all major credit cards and debit cards at checkout. Many card issuers offer their own installment plans — check with your bank for details.

Will my printer come with starter ink?

Yes. Every printer ships with the manufacturer's standard starter ink set included in the box, exactly as it leaves the manufacturer. The page yield of the starter ink varies by model — check the specifications section on the product page for an estimate.

How long should a TopInkjet printer last?

With proper care and normal household or small-office use, the inkjet printers in our catalog typically last between 4 and 7 years. Refillable Smart Tank models tend to live at the longer end of that range; entry-level DeskJet models at the shorter end. The biggest factor in printer longevity is monthly print volume relative to the printer's recommended duty cycle.

How do I check the status of an order without an account?

You don't need an account to get an order status update. Email us with your order number (begins with "TI-") and the email address used at checkout, and we'll look up the latest status during business hours.

Do you have a physical store?

No. TopInkjet is an online-only US retailer with no public storefront. Keeping our overhead low is part of how we're able to include free shipping on every order.

Buying Advice We Hear Most Often

A handful of buying questions come up in nearly every conversation we have with shoppers. The short answers below cover the three we hear most — use them as a starting point, and email us if your situation needs a more personal recommendation.

"Should I get an inkjet or skip it entirely?"

Inkjet is the right choice when you print color, when you print less than 1,000 pages a month, and when you value photo quality. If you almost exclusively print black-and-white documents in a high-volume office, a different printer category may serve you better — but for the vast majority of homes and small offices, modern inkjets (especially refillable tank models) are excellent.

"I print maybe twice a month — is the printer going to dry out?"

This was a real problem with inkjets a decade ago and is much better today. The printers in our catalog all run a periodic self-maintenance cycle to keep nozzles clear, and the Smart Tank line in particular is engineered for sporadic-use households. That said, the most reliable strategy for any inkjet is to print at least one page every two weeks — even a test page is enough to keep things flowing.

"What's the cheapest printer that won't be a regret?"

The HP DeskJet 2855e is our usual answer. It's compact, it handles light home printing well, it supports wireless printing from phones and laptops, and the per-page cost is reasonable for the price point. If you'll print more than 100 pages a month, step up to a refillable tank model instead — you'll spend more upfront and less over the printer's life.
