Shipping Policy
This Shipping Policy explains where we ship, when your order will leave for the carrier, how long it takes to arrive, what it costs, and what to do if anything goes wrong in transit.
Where We Ship
TopInkjet ships within the United States only — to all 50 states, the District of Columbia, US territories (Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands), and APO/FPO/DPO military addresses. We do not currently ship to Canada, Mexico, or any other international destination.
Order Processing
Most orders are picked, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1–2 business days, Monday through Friday. Orders placed on weekends or US federal holidays begin processing the next business day. To get a status update at any time, email us with your order number (begins with "TI-") and we'll respond during business hours.
If your order requires additional verification (for example, a billing address that does not match the card on file), we may delay shipment until we can confirm the order with you. We'll email you during business hours if this happens.
Shipping Method, Cost, and Timing
We currently offer one shipping option: Standard Ground Shipping, which is free on every order with no minimum spend. Estimated delivery times below are in addition to processing time and exclude weekends and US federal holidays. They are estimates from our carrier partners and are not guaranteed.

Free Standard Ground Shipping is automatically applied at checkout to every order — there is no minimum spend, no membership required, and no surprise fees added later in the flow.
Carriers
We work with established national ground carriers. The specific carrier used for your order depends on package size, weight, and destination.
Delivery Preferences
At checkout you can choose how the package should be handed over: leave at door (the default for most addresses), signature required (for added security), or hold at the carrier's nearest pickup location. You may also leave free-text delivery instructions for the driver.
Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, and APO/FPO
Free Standard Ground Shipping applies to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses, but transit times are typically extended:
- Alaska and Hawaii: add 2–4 business days to standard ground transit.
- US Territories: add 5–10 business days; some routes use US Postal Service for the final leg.
- APO/FPO/DPO: handed to the US Postal Service for military mail processing; transit time varies by destination and unit.
Address Accuracy
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. If you provide an incorrect or incomplete address and the carrier returns the package to us, contact us at [email protected] so we can work out next steps for your order.
Order Status Updates
To check on the status of your order at any time, email us at [email protected] with your order number (begins with "TI-") and we will respond during business hours. We monitor every order from placement through delivery, and if there is any delay or issue with your shipment we will reach out by email so you don't have to chase us for updates.
Lost or Stolen Packages
If your order is marked as delivered by the carrier but you cannot find the package, please:
- Wait 24 hours — carriers occasionally mark packages "delivered" before the actual delivery.
- Check with neighbors and around your property — packages are sometimes left at side or back doors.
- Email us with your order number so we can contact the carrier to file a missing-package report.
- Email us at [email protected] with your order number and any case number from the carrier. We will investigate, file a claim with the delivery carrier on your behalf, and issue a refund once the claim is resolved.
Damaged or Lost in Transit
If your package appears to be lost in transit (significantly past the expected delivery date) or arrives with carrier damage to the box or product, contact us within 48 hours of the expected delivery date at [email protected]. We will investigate, file a claim with the delivery carrier on your behalf, and issue a full refund to your original payment method once the claim is resolved.
P.O. Boxes
For weight and size reasons, most printers cannot be shipped to P.O. boxes. Please use a street address.
Sales Tax
Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable state and local rates. Our checkout uses a flat estimated rate of 8% for clarity; the actual rate charged to your card matches your local jurisdiction.
Packaging
Every printer we ship leaves in the manufacturer's original retail carton, placed inside a protective outer shipping carton with at least two inches of cushioning on all sides. We use recyclable corrugated cardboard for the outer carton and avoid polystyrene foam wherever a paper or molded-pulp alternative is available. If you don't need the outer shipping carton, please recycle it through your local curbside program — most US municipalities accept clean, flattened corrugated cardboard.
Shipping Delays
While we work hard to meet our published transit times, certain circumstances outside our control can extend delivery beyond the standard 3–7 business day window. These include severe weather (storms, hurricanes, blizzards, flooding), natural disasters, carrier capacity constraints during peak retail seasons, US federal holidays, regional infrastructure disruptions, and other unforeseen events that affect the national shipping network. We monitor delayed shipments proactively and will reach out by email if a package is delayed by more than 3 business days beyond the original estimate. For time-sensitive orders, please plan for the upper end of the transit window, as we are unable to guarantee a specific delivery date or offer paid expedited upgrades at this time.
Multiple-Box Shipments
If your order includes more than one printer or a printer plus a large accessory, your order may ship in multiple boxes that arrive on different days. If one box is delayed by more than 3 business days after the others, email us with your order number and we will investigate the slow leg directly with the carrier.
Carrier Selection
We choose between our partner ground carriers based on package size, package weight, the destination ZIP code, and current carrier capacity. The choice for your specific order is automated and made at the time the label is generated; we don't currently allow customers to specify a preferred carrier. If you have a strong preference (for example, a building that only accepts a specific carrier), please add a note in the delivery instructions field at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate.
Estimating Delivery Date
The 3–7 business day estimate on this page is a conservative average for the contiguous United States. Most orders arrive within that window, but cross-country shipments and remote rural ZIP codes typically use the upper end of the range. We are unable to guarantee a specific delivery date.
